Help protect your Spacia floor from scratches and damage by:
- Taking care with upright vacuum cleaners
- Using casters or cups under furniture feet
- Using fibre mats at outside entrances (not rubber or latex backed mats as they can leave stains)
- Not allowing cigarettes,matches or other hot items to touch your floor
- Avoiding contact with rubber, asphalt, paints and shoe polishes
- Taking care with spray polish and other products that may make your floor slippery
advice
- Scratching. Use entrance matting and sweep more often. Dress floor if it is badly marked.
- Scuffing. Routine maintenance with Amtico Floor Cleaner or gently rub with a soft scouring pad.
- Sticky Floor. Remove solids with absorbent paper then wash with diluted Amtico Floor Cleaner. If there are dull residues, mop floor again.
- Staining. Blot up spillage then wash with diluted Amtico Floor Cleaner. Use a wet non-scratch scouring pad if necessary then rub with turpentine. Leave for 30 minutes and rinse with water.
- Floor indentation. Protect your floor from heavy furniture with wide bearing furniture cups.

1. Frequently sweep your floor with a soft brush or vacuum
2. After reading the instructions, prepare a solution of dilute Amtico Floor Cleaner. Apply to floor with a spray bottle and mop or bucket and damp mop. Rinse the mop frequently, and if using a bucket, change the solution when it becomes dirty. The amount of cleaning depends on your lifestyle and the floor colour, but a weekly wipe over is usually enough. Use micro fibre mop heads, as they are excellent at cleaning between beveled tiles. Scuffmarks that are not removed during routine cleaning may be gently rubbed with a soft scouring pad. |
